National Fleet & Security Manager — Jhb

Our client in the FMCG/manufacturing sector is looking for a hands‑on, energetic, operations‑driven National Fleet & Security Manager to oversee fleet and security activities across multiple sites nationally.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day‑to‑day fleet operations
• Ensure vehicles are compliant, roadworthy and well‑maintained
• Oversee downtime, repairs, tyres, fuel usage and cost control
• Coordinate service providers, workshops, insurers and tracking partners
• Support accident management, claims and investigations
• Oversee licences, permits, fines and cross‑border requirements
• Use fleet systems and telematics to monitor and optimise performance

Security & Risk

• Oversee CCTV, access control and security partners
• Support security Processes across all sites
• Assist with incident investigations and risk‑related follow‑ups
• Conduct spot checks and general site‑safety walks

• Relevant qualification in Fleet/Transport Management
• 5+ years’ fleet operations experience
• Strong organisational and operational skills
• Ability to interpret technical information and manage service providers
• Experience with telematics, fuel monitoring and fleet systems
• Solid understanding of insurance and incident response
• Willingness to travel nationally
• Most importantly — you’re a doer, hands‑on, practical, and not afraid to get involved in daily operations.
